| There are dozens of damsel nymph
patterns on the market. Many sport eyes, feelers, legs and gills.
While trout don't care for the mimicry of detail, they always
fall for the illusion of life. This deceptively simple pattern
undulates and breathes as it swims. When the deservedly famous
Davis Lake damsel nymph migration takes place, I'll dedicate
an entire fly box to Randall's marabou damsel.
